Am I eligible to be tattooed?
Please refer to bottom of page. If you have any of the following conditions, you will not be eligible for this procedure. To book a consultation, email us to have access to the patient portal. Currently we are having all consultations and procedures to be scheduled on Mondays only. Exceptions can be discussed during consultation stage.
-
What is the cost of the tattoo?
Total tattoo costs will vary from project to project but our minimum is $4,000 an hour and upwards to $10,000 an hour dependent on final design, size and placement. The goal will always complete our entire project in one sitting so cost per hour can change depending on how many artists will be needed to finish the session in the required time frame. Sessions will not exceed 10 hours due to restraints of anesthesia and safety of the client. During consultations we will discuss the expectations the client has with the abilities of the artists. We will require a booking fee that will be proportionate to the cost of the final design which will be discussed during the consultation.
-
Do you offer payment plans?
The fee is to be paid before a date is set, full payment will be needed 2 weeks prior to the procedure. We can accept debit and credit cards. Unfortunately, these services cannot be paid in installments due to the nature of the work. Please contact Dream Ink Services to discuss general cost of sessions. No payment plans.
-
How does the design process work?
Each design idea will be created during the consultation when we discuss the project with the client. Once booking fee has been paid, a full design will be created and shown prior to procedure. If the client wishes to make changes, a video call will be required so we can discuss the changes the client wishes to make in real time. We will not take changes by email, intent gets lost in translation over text communications. Once final design is made, we will require a written statement to confirm as on procedure day we will not have time to make any changes. This service is for largescale work, to receive a backpiece, sleeve or have several tattoos done at once. We have a 5 hour minimum for this procedure.
-
What should I expect on day of procedure?
Once booking fee and complete payment has been sent along with the written consent of design, the procedure will take place at Dr Robert Schwartz Plastic Surgery Center starting between 7-9 am. No eating before midnight the previous night or procedure will have to be rescheduled. Before the client goes under anesthesia, all the necessary paperwork will be signed along with liability wavers and written consent of design and placement on the body among other finishing details. Client can also waive the right to have pictures/video taken during session for use of media marketing. Once the session is completed, just like normal surgery, they will be treated in the post-op room until awake and cognitive. Client will be required to have transportation after session.
